O PÁSSARO DE OURO - THE GOLDEN BIRD
VISUAL DEVELOPMENT - PERSONAL PROJECT
The Golden Bird is a visual development project of the fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm made in the course of Environment Sketching for production at the CG Masters Academy. The story, based on the tale of the same name, is all set in an universe that refers to Eastern culture, especially arabic, indian and russian. One of the great inspirations for the project was the work of the famous Russian illustrator Ivan Bilibin. During the course we also explored elements of the art nouveau and art deco architecture in the design of the backgrounds.
